Our mobile app collects location data to support live pickup tracking. This is the only feature that requires location access, and it applies only to crane operators assigned to vehicle pickups — not to sellers or general users.

What we collect:

• Precise location (GPS latitude, longitude, accuracy, speed) of the assigned crane operator's device

When we collect it:

• Only after a crane operator accepts a pickup job and starts travelling to the seller's location
• Location is collected in the background — even when the app is minimized, not in use, or the screen is off — because the operator keeps the app in the background while driving to the pickup point
• Tracking automatically stops once the operator reaches the pickup or completes the job, and the operator can stop it manually at any time

Why we need it:

• To display the crane operator's real-time position on a live map so the seller and our team can see their location and estimated arrival time
• This continuous tracking cannot be done reliably without background location access

How it is shared:

• The operator's live location is sent to our secure servers and shown to the relevant seller and our operations team for the duration of the active pickup only
• Location data is never sold, rented, or shared with advertisers or any third-party marketers

Your information is used solely for service delivery and business operations. It is never sold or rented to any third party.

• Generating quotes and conducting vehicle valuation
• Scheduling appointments and coordinating vehicle pickup
• Processing RC transfer and government documentation
• Completing payment settlement and banking verification
• Providing customer support and follow-up communication
• Improving our services through website analytics
• Ensuring legal compliance with Motor Vehicles Act and CPCB guidelines

Bharat Scrap Facilities shares your data only in limited and clearly defined circumstances:

• Government Authorities: Vehicle scrapping certificates and RC cancellation — required documentation with MoRTH and the RTO
• CPCB / State Pollution Control Boards: Environmental compliance reporting
• Banking / Payment Partners: For processing payment settlements via UPI or NEFT
